Charles River Photos

I took some photos of a partly frozen Charles River a few weeks ago.  It was about 18 degrees F/-8 C if I remember right, and windy, so I wasn’t out long and didn’t get a lot of good shots.  Here are 3 decent ones.

Boston Across the Charles

This one was taken from the north side of the Charles River alongside the MIT campus, looking towards Back Bay (part of Boston).

This is the Longfellow Bridge, opened in 1906.

Wow! that looks cold. I’m starting to shiver just looking at those pictures. Living here in Vancouver, such bitter coldness is beyond imagination. By the way, it’s about 14 degree Celsius here today in the sun.
For you Americans, I *think* that translates to about 85 degree Fahrenheit, or close to it.

    Miss you sweetie 8^)

How long was the snow on the ground in Vancouver this winter? 2, 3 weeks?

It’s warmer here now. Maybe I’ll have to post some spring pictures to warm you back up.

And, for the record, I am still a Canadian, eh.

    ;)
