UPA2007

I’m in Austin, Texas at the UPA conference.

Last year, there were a few people blogging about the conference, but this year I can find only one, Pat Kennedy. I hope this is not a sign of things to come, but there looks to be many good sessions regardless of the lack of online buzz.

    Reasons for not blogging? You mean the lack of wireless internet? :)

    Hey, at WWDC there was wireless access everywhere (yes, I checked the bathroom), yet people seemed quite disciplined in its use. I didn’t see tons of people on myspace or bit-torrent during sessions.

    I never saw so many macbook pros in 1 space at once either. One guy told me it was an annual migration of macbooks, and we humans are just their host. When I asked about WHY they would want to all get together, he said “Havem’t you seen the (wireless) network traffic between them…?”
