Queen Elizabeth Park

Ron (who still doesn’t have a blog) and I went shooting at Queen Elizabeth Park on Monday. Picture this:

QueenEPark-2

The Bloedel Conservatory. Home of tropical plants and birds.

QueenEPark-1

A close-up of the dome where you can see the trees straining to escape. One day that dome is just going to pop off.

QueenEPark-3

The dome again, but with a funky B&W look.

QueenEPark-4

Finally, there were lots of flowers and a few bees.

heh. That first pic looks like the Bloedel Conservatory UFO. ;)

You have such a neat eye. I love the “bubble” perspective. Sorta looks like what I expect terra-forming to look like. Someday, that might be the surface of Mars…

Thanks, Alissa. Although I feel like my eye is losing it. There were very few unique shots from that trip… I need to get out more.

On the other hand, I could just start drastically digitally editing my photos. I mean, if it works for Reuters, why not me?

I believe the conservatory is actually a crashed UFO but don’t tell anyone.
