Can’t Beat the Heat

We’re returning from California tomorrow.  We were on vacation, supposedly, but the horrendous heat (causing over 100 deaths) and dealing with my wife’s grandfather’s continuing health problems really sapped that relaxing feeling.

I am so looking forward to the 20 degree temperatures at home!

    You missed a nice lightening show and thunderstorm with heavy rain this morning, it was spectacular. Except the dogs hate the thunder, they were up at 5am yapping, barking and such.

    20 degrees! Oh my gosh!!! Oh wait, that’s Celsius… uh… OOOH high 60’s. We’re hitting 98 out here today. Or for you… high 30’s.
